Ethiopia Filter Jimma Coffee Beans
From the birthplace of coffee.
This small holders lot is coming from the Beshasha farms, near to the Jimma washing station.
Thanks to the new coffee regulations in Ethiopia, smallholder producers can now directly export their own coffee.
This together with a gradual climate change, is helping to dramatically increase the quality of the coffees in this region.
Gugu Lulesa is a farmer benefiting from these new regulations in Ethiopia. He has a 23 hectare farm and this is his first harvest operating a drying facility in the site for natural coffees. His cherries are perfectly red, and are harvested from his two farms in Agaro situated at 2050 meters above sea level.
